Website of SITRAER:

The System Wide Information Management (SWIM) consists of standards, infrastructure and governance enabling the management of air traffic information and services. Interoperability among services is improved through the use of common information exchange models, common services for information exchange, and proper standards and technology. It is very important for the Brazilian Air Traffic Management Community to apply SWIM. SESAR (Europe) and NextGen (USA) embraced SWIM for modernizing their Air Traffic Management programs. In Brazil, the SWIM ecosystem and the SWIM registry are at an early stage of development.

This minicourse is designed in one hour for the professional and students to understand better of SWIM. It is divided in five parts: 1) SWIM concepts and applications; 2) SWIM framework and infrastructure; 3) SWIM Governance; 4) SWIM Registry; and 5) Perspectives.
