TransLab is a Centre of Excellence for Research and Development of Computational Models applied to Air Transportation in the Department of Computer Science, University of Brasilia (UnB), Brazil.

 

Since 1998, TransLab has developed several important projects related to Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) with the cooperation of the Foundation for Critical Technologies Applications (Atech), Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) and Center for Management of Air Navigation (CGNA). The research of TransLab has been supported by CAPES, CNPq, FINEP and other foundations to promote the development and implementation.

 

The mission of TransLab is to incorporate technology into society, especially, air transportation and informatics application. TransLab is now involving 4 PhD students and 3 master students and 8 undergraduate students with two research topics such as Artificial Intelligence (in Big Data and Social Medias) and Air Transportation (ATFM and CDM).
